As sheep of the Good Shepherd, we are called to one flock. But in a divided culture, staying unified is easier said than done. In a world that constantly demands we "pick a side," how do we personally resist the pull of division and instead model a life of safety + security for our children?
Today, we continue our Safe + Secure: Life with the Good Shepherd series by diving into a challenging section of John 10. While we love the imagery of the Shepherd’s individual care, Jesus also speaks of a "unified flock" that stretches beyond our own comfortable circles. Joining us is Lydia Lucas: wife, mom, writer, ministry leader, seminary student, and co-founder of Latinas Loving Jesus.
Together, we explore how resting in our security with Christ empowers us to raise kids who are both firm in their faith and fierce in their pursuit of unity.

Joy in Parenting is a MomLife Ministries gospel-centered community event for moms of all ages and stages. Join us for a morning filled with worship, encouragement, meaningful connection, and fun. You’ll hear biblically rich teaching from Jeannie Cunnion, author of Mom Set Free and Never Alone, along with engaging breakout sessions on joy in Scripture and prayer, friendship, parenting in the technological age, and navigating hard conversations from a biblical foundation. This isn’t about a quick fix—it’s about real joy that is strengthened and sustained by the Spirit. We hope to see you there—Christy and I would love to meet you in person!
